Kids Hunt

Every child that participated got prizes that they were able to select from a wide array of puzzles, games, toys and other items of interest for their age group. My apologies for not having any photos of their prize handouts, my camera decided to glitch on me. I will check with our other members to see if I can round some photos up that they might have taken at the same time.

This year we had sponsorship from KellyCo, White's Detectors, Metal Detector.com, and other local vendors. In addition our Hunt Masters Susan and Robert with their skills throughout the year were able to get some great deals on some collectors items and other unique prizes.

I know I say this every year but if you want to have a successful event you need a good team. If you think its easy to have an event like this than try holding one and you will see it takes a tremendous amount of work and organization before the event even starts. Registrations forms, advertisements, gaining sponsors, permits, insurance, and purchasing prizes all needs to take place well in advance of the event. HRRS is fortunate to have two very skilled hunt masters that search all year long for the best prizes at the best prices and get the sponsors we need to have one of the best events on the east coast. Each year I get many comments on our unique and vast prize collections that they are able to bring together for this event.

What is even more amazing is due to the economy, organized hunts like this are becoming rare and very few can match the extent of prizes that are offered at our Hunt. While we would love to have events like we have had in the past with more than 70 people hunting we appreciate those that participate in our hunt and hope you had a great time.

Finally of course I would like to let Susan And Robert, our hunt masters, know that I as well as every member of HRRS appreciate your efforts and abilities to put together such a successful event year after year. Thank you.
