Kids Hunt

This year was certainly not short on prizes. We had sponsorship from KellyCo, White's Detectors, Bass Proshops, and other local vendors. In addition our Hunt Masters Susan and Robert with their skills throughout the year were able to get some great deals on some collectors items and other unique prizes. From Starter Kits to Collectors Coins to even a White's Metal Detector the selection was great. Everyone was having a great time during the prize presentations and showed as everyone patiently awaited their tokens numbers to be called and applauded the winners.

Below are just some of the photos captured during the prize award ceremony. My apologies for not having more as my digital camera was giving me some problems towards the end of the day.

You can not have an event like this without a strong organizing team. While as the president of the club I try and assist with the public relations side of things; obtaining the registrations and permits, purchasing prizes, gathering sponsors prizes, and organizing the event is a monumental undertaking that Susan and Robert do with extreme skill. Thank You for all your efforts for making our Fall Club Hunt the success that it was. I heard more than once that our hunts are always "worth coming to" and that we have the "best selection of prizes" of any organized hunt they have attended. Your hard work was appreciated by all that attended as well as by all of us in the Hampton Roads Recovery Society.
